KFC Weekend Away at Cloverley Hall | 5–7 June 2026
Our church weekend away is back — and this year we’re heading to Cloverley Hall (Calverhall, near Whitchurch, Shropshire) for a full, joyful weekend together. You can find out more about Cloverley Hall on their website.
It’s a great weekend where we can sing God’s praise, enjoy teaching and seminars, and take part in a host of optional activities – both active and gentle – as we spend time together as a church family.
What’s included
- All meals included from Saturday Breakfast through to Sunday lunch (no cooking, no pot washing, just eat!). Please note that you will need to provide your own food on Friday evening.
- Great on-site facilities for fun and downtime – including an indoor heated swimming pool, sports courts/fields, and indoor games spaces.
- Time for activities, games, chats, walks, and plenty of unhurried community time.
Teaching
We’re really looking forward to welcoming Daf Meirion-Jones to lead our main teaching across the weekend. There will also be crèche and children’s/youth sessions running during the main teaching sessions.
Accommodation options
You can book either:
- Staying in the Hall – a variety of room types are available including single, shared, and family rooms. Every room has a wash basin, and some rooms have an en-suite. Bed linen is provided, but you’ll need to bring your own towels.
- Camping/Caravan (at a discounted price)

Prices are as follows:

Prices are slightly higher than previous years as all meals are included. Please note that the church is subsidising the cost to keep the weekend as affordable as possible for everyone.
If you’re able to give a little extra to help cover costs, please do so on a separate donation page. There are also funds available for anyone for whom cost is a barrier – please indicate on the booking form if you would like to be considered for support.
How to book
Fill in the booking form below. If you are coming as a family, you can fill out one form with all of your details. Please also indicate anything you are able to help with over the weekend.
Please note there are a limited number of spaces, so bookings are first come, first served.
After submitting your booking form, you can go to the payment page to pay for the weekend. If you’re able to pay at the same time as booking, please do – it significantly reduces the admin burden. (This link will still be available after you submit your application form.)
